A Bloodbath on Wall Street

So I was thinking today that with the Dow down 358 points, it might be time to brush off my writing skills and prepare for a new job, since the market is determined to go to zero.

I believe in the power of manifesting our worlds, so I'll use this first post--before I learn how to put up pictures, or what negative criticism feels like--to constitute this blog for myself and my several readers with some ground rules:

1) This blog will be an act of creation. Creation destroys the status quo; I will therefore change the world by speaking.
2) I will follow the Wiccan Rede: An' it harm none, do as ye will.
3) I will speak my truth, and I will entertain with a blend of humor and gravity.
4) I reserve the right, at any time, to edit, add, alter, or in any way change what I've said, believed, spoken, claimed, or outright invented. (Which gets me thinking: if we want leaders who grow, evolve, and adapt to a changing world, then WHY would we criticize them for valid changes in their views and positions? I don't get it. 'A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.' Thanks Ralph.)

We each of us are searching. You're searching right now, reader--looking for some bit of amusement, maybe. Or perhaps--more treacherous and star-crossed!--looking for wisdom or illumination in this dark and terrible world. The good news: it's out there.
